The World Free Zone (China) Summit (WFZ Summit) is to be held in Zhuhai, China on October 29 to 31 to promote the development of global free zones (FZ). Organized by the World Free Zones Organization (World FZO), the current theme of the event focuses on “One Belt, One Zone: New Era, New Cooperation, New Development”, targeting global FZ, governments, organisations, and enterprises to support their development.
Keynote speakers & VIPs will share their views and discuss topics in the sessions of keynote speech & panel discussion. Keynote Speeches involves:
1) Evolution and Designing of Free Zones in China – Present to Future;
2) Free Zone 4.0;
3) Investment Opportunities for China in foreign Free Zones and Special Economic Zones;
4) Improving Competitiveness in Free Zones – Special Focus on China.
Topics of panel discussions are:
a) Implications of the new economy on Free Zones;
b) Belt and Road Initiative – Role of Free Zones;
c) Future of Trade and Logistics and E-Commerce and Connectivity.
There will be more than 500 representatives, including officials from international organisations like World Customs, OECD, International Port Association etc., delegates from the countries and regions along the BRI, the enterprises from the World TOP 500, global FZ, industrial associations, academic research institutions and media will address to Zhuhai to witness this global brainstorming of FZ.
The free zones have always been an attractive destination for worldwide entrepreneurs. FZ economy has even risen to the state-level strategy, so does in China. With the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port proposed by China’s president Xi Jinping, China is deepening its opening-up strategy and its free zone economy. This conference provides an excellent opportunity for audiences to learn, exam and plan the development of FZ.
The WFZ Summit consists of the training, seminar, demonstration display. “After the three-day summit, we arrange field trips for global participants to get a closer study on China’s pilot free trade zones in Zhuhai, Shanghai, Xi’an, Sanya, Chengdu, Tianjin and Xiamen.
